WHAT IS TAGPO?
Tagpo: a Tagalog word meaning meeting or encounter.
Tagpo is a Filipino ministry tool designed to initiate deep, meaningful conversations. Christian missionaries in Manila plan to gather various friends and acquaintances they’ve met in The Philippines, Christian or not, and have open discussions about meaning, family, and hopefully faith. The discussions will begin by showing an episode of Tagpo. In these episodes, real individuals are asked these same questions. After watching, whatever thoughts or reflections the members of the group gather from the video will facilitate discussion. Directed by Colin Neville, Tagpo serves as both a compelling Christian mission tool, as well as a contemplative reflection on the people of Manila.
